Our Ruby Girl Como

The Verdict

Our Ruby Girl in Como is a friendly neighbourhood cafe with a whole lot of heart. Dedicated to using only the best local produce, they’re an equal opportunity employer and a zero waste cafe on a mission to make a difference.

Serving all day nosh, the menu is seasonal and changes regularly, so there’s always something new to try.

This isn’t your typical cafe-style fare, though, Our Ruby Girl goes the extra mile when it comes to creativity. Think gravlax with house cured salmon, baby capers, fennel crème fresh and the most delicious crispy fried avocado, and French toast served with prosciutto, blue cheese crumb, rocket pesto and pickled persimmon.

They’ve got plenty of options for vegetarians, vegans and gluten intolerant peeps—the tofu scramble is a winner; and they do an exceptional coffee, no matter what variety of milk you’re a fan of.

The interiors serve up Australiana vibes, with stunning wallpaper featuring our local flora, warm woods and green accents.

If you’re popping in for a coffee and a treat from the cabinet at the front, take a gander at the goodies stocked in the providore. And if you forget to bring your reusable cup you can grab one of their RTRNA cups and deposit it back the next time you stop by.

Our Ruby Girl is a cafe filled with good vibes where you’re certain to leave with a smile.
