When Scott Bridger announced he was returning home to Leighton Beach it just felt right. The beloved chef is back on familiar coastal turf with Pearla & Co., a refined yet relaxed North Fremantle restaurant built around exceptional local seafood, thoughtful hospitality and the kind of long lunches that somehow drift into sunset drinks.
The team has reimagined the former Al Lupo site opposite Leighton Beach into a warm, textured coastal dining room anchored by a striking 10-metre Verde Indio marble bar, recycled jarrah finishes and an open alfresco terrace made for balmy afternoons.
Scott’s leaning in to what he does best with a menu featuring the flavours of the Australian coastline. We’re talking dry-aged fish showcased in custom fridges, oysters shucked to order and produce sourced from trusted WA growers and fishermen Scott has worked alongside for years. Expect simple things done very, very well. Backed by a carefully curated wine list from co-owner and creative director Amalie White, Pearla & Co. already feels destined to become one of Perth’s defining coastal dining destinations.
