The Verdict
A local artists haunt at the Perth’s Institute of Contemporary Arts, Perth bar Picabar is vibing with artsy Northbridge appeal and has become quite the institution since opening in 2012.
After a close call with their lease in 2019, the community rallied behind owners Melissa Bowen and Brian Buckley and created the #savepicabar campaign which caused quite the stir and paid off with the state government granting them a long term lease—so you can rest assured the good times will keep on rolling.
Rub shoulders with Perth’s hipster element over some adult beverages and live music in the eve, or head there during the day for some wicked burgers and people watching outside.
