The Verdict
Another adults play arena has taken over Perth in the form of Planet Royale—a huge three-tiered haunt in the old IMAX theatre in Northbridge, complete with its own pop-culture inspired bar, restaurant, arcade and theatre.
You can smash burgers like the classic ‘Royale with Cheese’ as well as loaded potato gems, New York cheesecakes, boozy milkshakes and more at the Americana diner: Pulp Kitchen; hit up awesome arcade machines dating back to the 70s at Barcadia; knock back bespoke cocktails and other premium beverages at the rock ‘n roll inspired bar: Major Tom’s; and catch live music, movies, comedy or cabaret at the Royale Theatre, all without having to leave the venue.
Plus, they've also been whipping up loads of fun to entice you in every day of the week. On Wednesday, big eaters will want to take on their beastly all-you-can-eat wing night—it's just $20 for three hours of unlimited wings with three different bastings to choose from, or you can go for the one hour challenge and walk out with a $100 voucher if you polish off the most wings on the night.
On Thursday, it's all about that free play. Just chuck down $15 on your game card (which you can use whenever you like) and enjoy free arcade games all night long. Better yet, they've also got some killer happy hour specials to sweeten the deal—we're talking $6 wines, $8 spirits, $9 beers and $12 cocktails between 4.30pm and 5.30pm.
Pretty epic, right? Start rounding up your fellow players now.
