Rockpool Bar & Grill
One of the most popular restaurants in the Crown complex, Neil Perry's Rockpool Bar & Grill is an authentic steakhouse combined with a sophisticated dining room which delivers an experience like no other. Boasting over 1350 Australian and international wines, you can't go past the prime meats cooked on the open wood fire grill, perfect for matching to aforementioned wine. And don't forget about dessert because the almond macaron and creme caramel ice cream sandwich is epic.
For three days in August one of Sydney's best restaurants is popping up at Rockpool, and if you're into Chinese food you're not going to want to miss this—even Mr Perry himself will be there. Spice Temple, one of the most awarded Chinese eateries in Australia, will be bringing 35 incredible dishes to Crown Perth, all designed to be shared banquet style.
Highlighting dishes from regions spanning Nanjing to Jiangxi, you can expect flavours that pack a punch. Think prawn wontons with black vinegar and chilli, crystal dumplings with warrigal greens and mushrooms, fried squid with typhoon sprinkles, firewater beef, fish drowned in chilli, and pipis with XO and fried noodles.
The desserts are just as impressive-sounding, there's three milk cake with dried raspberries, pistachio and almond and a duck-egg custard spring roll. Along with the eats, Spice Temple will be serving their signature zodiac cocktails plus all of the wine. Here only from 16 to 18 August, book now to ensure you don't miss out.
