Scarborough Beach Bar
With the best views of the beach, Scarborough Beach Bar has been completely revitalised and is set to become one of Perth's greatest summer hangouts.
Brought to us by the same crew as Market Grounds and The Peach Pit, Scarborough Beach Bar is where you want to head for laid-back drinks with your posse.
The coastal pub serves everything from share plates and salads to burgers, sangas and pizzas, with a little Asian-fusion flair thrown in. Think pork belly bites with caramel miso and ginger salsa, a soba noodle and Asian slaw salad with ginger, fried tempura noodles and mirin, and Japanese fried chicken tacos with kewpie wasabi mayo and slaw.
But don't worry, there's still plenty of hearty pub grub going around like their fish finger sanga on thick white bread with dill mayo, chipotle pickle and lettuce and a steak sandwich on Turkish bread with smoked bacon, melted American cheese, red onion relish and mayo. Both served with chips of course.
Open for breakfast on weekends and public holidays, grab a nice spot on the balcony and chow into a tasty bacon and egg burger or smashed avo and crumpets before heading out on a beach walk.
In the drink department, they've got loads of beers on tap and in tinnies, plenty of white wine and rosé for hot summer days, spritzes and gin tonicas and refreshing cocktails like the Sippin Safari with coconut, apricot, lemon and sugarcane.
Scarborough Beach Bar runs some excellent daily specials and they do all you can eat pizza every single day at lunch or dinner. Just grab seven mates, bring $40 each and you can eat slice after slice of their delicious 12-inch pizzas for two hours. And because they're legends, selected tap beers, ciders, house wines and sparkling are all included in the package. How many chorizo, olive, oregano, chilli and tomato sugo pizzas can you do?
