Perth’s pizza king, Theo Kalogeracos, is back in business in Leederville with his new business venture, Theo & Co. You can expect the same quality of pizzas as the original Little Caesars Pizzeria and a whole lot of amazing new creations. We are lusting so hard over the amazeballs Nonna’s Special—in-house Italian meatballs with a rich tomato sauce, mozzarella, parmesan and parsley—and the Los Pollos Hermanos—a roasted red capsicum sauce with mozzarella, crunchy battered chicken, avocado, red onion, mayo and specialty blue salt (which we think is actually crack, it’s super addictive). If you're dining in you can't pass up one of the skillet pizzas, deep dish and filled with cheese these bad boys will give you cheese dreams for days. As for dessert, you can't go wrong whatever your choice!

With good service, good atmosphere and great food, East Victoria Park restaurant The Prophet might just become your new fave eatery. With plenty of tempting options for vegetarians and meat eaters alike, trust the staff when they very politely mention you might have ordered too much. If you really want to try those extra things on the menu you might just have to go back, or get ready to unbutton your pants.

Waffles from Northbridge cafe Superstar Waffles are not your standard breakfast waffle. Flavour combos like banoffee, warm apple pie and the tried and true peanut butter mousse with Oreo crumble escalate these superstars way in to the dessert category. Having said that, we certainly wouldn't judge you for having one for breakfast...just sayin.

We love hot dogs and we love Perth food trucks... so it makes sense that we double love Wassup Dog. Hanging out in North Fremantle at Mojo's most weekends to satisfy your late night hot dog cravings, you can also find them at various night markets about town. With organic beef, free range chicken and a vegetarian option (yep, vegetarian hot dogs, you read that right!) and some freakin' awesome homemade garlic mayo, it's not wonder we dream about these dawgs all week long. Finally we can get pho in Subiaco! That's right, gone are the days of having to drive the torturous 11 minutes to Northbridge for a decent Vietnamese feed! The decor at Fee Fi Pho Fum is cheap and cheerful, and so is the food. With the pho coming in under the $10 mark and a banh mi for less than $8, we would very happily come back here again and again.

Look no further than Perth restaurant Sparrow for cheap and tasty Indonesian take away (some dine in available, if you’re lucky) with cheery local hospitality. It’s by no means fine dining, but the locals pack in every evening to get their hands on favourites like the Beef Rendang. Delicious!

While we used to think of Lost Society as a place for hip young things to bump and grind (are the kids saying 'bump and grind' these days?), their new fusion menu proves it's also the perfect spot to head after work for some bar snacks or a more substantial dinner. But don't worry, in the late hours of the weekend, the bar still transforms into your favourite dance spot, playing hip hop and r&b while the bar pumps out espresso martinis by the dozen.

There is bound to be something for everyone at Annapurna Nepalese Kitchen in Highgate, with over 70 dishes ranging and a good range of vegan and gluten free options, you can't really go wrong. The huge interior is perfect for large groups but it's also great for a small party of two. This gem is one of Highgate's best kept secrets, the food is crazy good and we can never get enough—we even get extra meals to take home for the next few days.

Gelati & Sons is one of Fremantle's best grocers where you'll find the freshest fruit and veggies and all of the gourmet Italian goodies you could ever need. Do your weekly shopping for bargain prices or pop in for a quick conti roll on your lunch break! Top tip: take an extra big bag, you can never buy one thing.

This place take cray-cray to whole new levels! If you've just experienced your first amine moving and have decided to convert, head to Tokyo Underground on Hay Street to purchase everything... like everything. They've got Japanese pop culture merchandise, all things amine, gaming, those hilarious kimmidolls, DVD's, plush toys and so much more!

We're a bit obsessed with poke bowls, so when we found out iPoke Bar in the Fremantle Markets was 100% dedicated to these bad boys we were pretty stoked. It’s a salad bar situation here, meaning you get to build your own bowl starting with all the usual raw fish options as well as tofu, and then add whatever you please. We’re not here to judge, but if you don’t get edamame and pickled ginger then you’re doing it wrong. 

One of Mount Lawley’s best kept secrets, Regal Crown on Lord Street serve up tasty Indian and Nepalese food using local and organic produce. If you’re wondering what the difference is between the food from these two nations, Indian curries are generally thicker than Nepalese curries, but they are both equally delicious. Try the Mo Mo’s, the Lamb Kadhai and any of the Biryanis.

A trip to Rottnest isn't complete without a visit to Hotel Rottnest Bar + Bistro for some ice cold bevvies and tasty pub grub. With a speccy view of Thomson Bay, cute quokkas running around underneath your table and tasty pub noms like burgers and fish and chips, this place is about as quintessentially Rotto as you can get. Be sure to stop by on your next trip over to the island.

Calling all pastry and durian lovers, Freddie Strudels in Northbridge is your sweet spot in town. Freddie Strudels is serving up crispy pastries with delicious durian cream filling that will blow your mind. We recommend the refreshing sweet mango and the crunchy apple strudel—it tastes just like summer. If you’re looking for a true cream explosion you'll want to try the durian cream puff. We dare you not to lick your fingers! 

This casual backyard hipster hangout and live music mecca is the perfect place to see a cool new band or while away a Sunday arvo. Have a boogie inside or head to the courtyard for a more relaxed vibe.

Cakes, cupcakes, macarons, desserts and coffee galore, Garnished The Sweet Kitchen is an artisan dessert bar in Wembley that will knock your socks off. Their hand-painted cakes are absolutely stunning, not to mention delicious, and their art series desserts—which are inspired by famous paintings—are almost too pretty to eat.

Noodle Inn is tucked down a funny little laneway in West Perth but trust us when we say it's well worth the search. Dishing out some of the best laksa in all of Perth, the only thing not to like about this place is that it's only open during the days on weekdays, so if you don't work close by you're going to have to schedule in a special visit. 

For a workout that pushes you to your limits, head directly to Anarchy Training Centre in West Perth. Boxing is the name of the game at this busy Perth gym which offers personal training sessions, as well as some killer group fitness classes covering off everything from cardio to strength training. Owned by pros in the boxing and fitness industry, Renae Wauhop and Glen Austin, you should expect to feel the burn after every class at Anarchy.
