If you live or work around Osborne Park you're likely well aware that when it comes time to grab an after work drink, your options are incredibly slim. Believe it or not, that's actually what drew entrepreneur Ami Bertagni to the area. He's got a knack for finding Perth burbs that are in desperate need of a good cafe, bar or restaurant and delivering just that—his most notable being Little Nolla.
Now, he's set to breathe a little life into Osborne Park's overly commercial scene in the form of Social House—a sleek new neighbourhood wine bar opening on Main St next week.
It's got a warm contemporary feel with plenty of character—just picture: hand-formed plaster, marble pendants and concrete render finishes with rich colourful accents—while the food and drinks menu is big on Italian and Spanish influence. It's the perfect spot to split a bottle of organic wine while snacking on tasty tapas bites in between sips.
Social House will open 4pm-12am Wednesday to Sunday, with a coffee window running 6am-10am seven days a week.
