The Verdict

Perth has scored its very first Art Series Hotel featuring the work of Matt Adnate, an incredible Australian street artist who’s known for his moving multicultural portraits.

Aptly named The Adnate, the Hay Street hotel features a stunning “mega mural”, the largest Adnate has ever painted and one of the tallest in the Southern Hemisphere, covering a massive 25 storeys.

Featuring three portraits that gaze out over the city, the mural reflects Perth’s culture and community over the decades.

With 250 contemporary rooms, the colourful hotel boasts city views, 650 of Adnate’s prints, an outdoor pool, a cafe, gym and bicycle hire. There are even dedicated art channels on the in-room smart TVs so you can brush up on your creative knowledge, all from the comfort of an Art Series signature king-sized bed.

Doors to The Adnate open on 1 October.
