The Verdict
Perched high above the rooftops of William Street, The Aviary sent Perth hurtling into the new age of high-altitude hospitality.
A venue suitable for all moods and occasions, The Aviary has just undergone a stunning makeover, which has sent our love for this place to all new levels.
Boasting the largest rooftop space in Western Australia, the views of the Perth city skyline from The Aviary's rooftop are next level. The oasis-like outdoor space is filled with lush trees, relaxed furniture and all of the jungle vibes—so there's a high probability you'll never want to leave.
Food-wise, there's plenty of treat yo'self faves, conveniently divided into one-handed snacks, salads, burgers, sangas and pizzas. Think cheddar and mustard croquettes, Moroccan roast chicken salads, pulled pork banh mis, crunchy eggplant sangas and sticky beef, sriracha and kewpie mayo pizzas.
If you're all about the espresso martini, The Aviary's espresso martini bar is your new best friend. There's the shake-it-yourself espresso jar-tini (feat. vodka, Mr Black coffee liqueur, caramel and espresso), the Aviary Classic, with hints of Kahlua and vanilla, and the Coffee & Crack made with rum, Kahlua, salted caramel and topped with caramel brittle.
You + caffeine = not a good mix? Not to worry, their signature cocktails (like the Mating Call with vodka, passionfruit, vanilla, lemon, pineapple and prosecco), and the hefty wine and beer list will have you covered.
The ultimate hangout, no matter your mood, stop by The Aviary next time you're in the city!
