Let’s get 2021 started the right way by grabbing a bite and a good cuppa joe from The Humble Onion. Former Head Chef of North Bird, Chris Howard, has opened up this funky spot in the newly remodeled Greenhouse site and damn does he know how to craft a tasty snack.
Opening up for dine-in meals on 1 February, this spot will provide its kitchen with the freshest of produce, planted in the venue’s rooftop garden itself. For the time being, enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee and takeaway bites like peach and strawberry frangipane tarts, plus drool-worthy bacon and sausage sambos.
Sommelier Caitlin Johnston is the brains behind the drinks. With next-level barista know-how and a passion for the sweet caffeine kick in our morning cup of joe, Johnston is taking the wheel in providing exceptional coffee as well as alcohol down the track.
The Humble Onion is now open at 100 St Georges Terrace from 6am to 1pm Wednesday to Friday for takeaway.
