The Lunch Shack

We’re officially calling it—this new retro-inspired lunch bar in Margaret River is flipping some of the best breakfast burgers in the South West. And with a motto of “Flipping Good Food,” it’s easy to see why locals are already flocking to this spot, led by the friendly trio Liz, Miki and Arlo. 

It’s straightforward and unpretentious here, but the quality of the food is top-notch. Picture ginormous homemade sausage rolls with rich flaky pastry, fresh Reuben sandwiches (already sold out on our visit!) and slow-cooked, gravy-smothered roast beef rolls—yummo. 

Soak up the sunshine on the outside deck as you eagerly tuck into your goodies. Word on the street is the gravy rolls tend to sell out by 12.30 pm, so don’t dawdle to snag one. The breakfast burger more than hit the spot with its crunchy yet fresh bun, a crispy hash brown, a generous amount of bacon, egg, melted cheese and a tasty relish. 

The cheery sign out the front says to “waddle on in” but we can attest, that we did in fact, waddle on out.
