The Verdict

With beautiful views over the Swan River and Elizabeth Quay, The Reveley is perfect for all occasions. Encompassing a cafe, dining room and rooftop bar, the light-filled interior features gold accents, concrete, wood panelling and huge windows; all the good stuff.

Head to the ground floor for casual eats come lunch or dinner time; think crispy salt and pepper squid with Asian slaw, Thai fried pork belly, chilli mussels and wagyu beef burgers.

Climb the stairs to the dining room for fancier affairs. The new summer menu includes delights like steak tartare with cured organic egg and game chips, and pan-roasted Cone Bay barramundi. The violet crumble dessert is a must; violet sorbet, frozen chocolate, butterscotch and honeycomb, good luck sharing that one.

Henry's Rooftop is where you'll find freshly shucked oysters, Shanghai fries with togarashi salt and yuzu mayo, tempura zucchini bao buns and beef cheek rendang sliders; along with epic views, of course.

The drinks list is long with champagne and sparkling, white, pink, orange and red wines, beer and spirits, but the cocktails are the standout. All Over Pavlova is a tangy delight made with pavlova vodka, lemon curd, vanilla, lemon and egg whites, while the Don't Eat Me offers plenty of spice thanks to some very delicious gingerbread syrup and Dom Benedictine. There's also plenty of Amplify kombucha to go around and the crew whips up a mean mocktail on request.

If you've been looking for an excuse to hit up The Reveley for a while, Perth's latest progressive dinner Three At The Quay is it. The bargain basement price of $49 will get you a roving riverside dinner to remember including pre-dinner gin cocktails and oysters at Oyster Bar, wood-fired pizza and a pint (or glass of wine) at The Island, and an incredible dessert cocktail featuring Gusto Gelato on the rooftop at The Reveley.
