Originally a pop-up restaurant, Piggy Food Co disappeared for a couple of months but popped back up in their own venue in North Fremantle and are here to stay—thank god! Serving up mouth-watering tacos (the fried avo is a must-try), rolls, wings and let’s not forget the ice cream sandwich, this is the perfect combo of American BBQ and Mexican.
The best bit, they're now a small bar too with plenty of craft beer on tap and a grilled cheese menu for when those munchies hit after the kitchen closes at 9pm.
Piggy Food Co turns two this weekend and their birthday just happens to coincide with WA Beer Week, so you'd better believe they're teaming up with some local breweries to celebrate. Feral and Pirate Life will be taking over the taps to battle it out with five brews each (including a few you haven't tasted before), plus there will be tasty eats and games galore. Get around it.
