The Verdict
Upperhand Burgers in Swanbourne is taking burgers to the next level. Choose from a variety of burgers and then take it up a notch with one of their extras, such as the loco, which'll add chopped chilli, sriracha, guac and caramelised onions to your already awesome burger. There's also vegan and gluten-free options, so you don't have to worry about missing out. Their sides are just as fantastic, pay special attention to the nacho bacon fries and the tofu nuggets.
Wash your meal down with your choice of fruit or milk boba tea, and then add an 'upper' such as their popping pearls or rainbow jelly. If you're there for dinner, you can head out to the courtyard and sit underneath the stars with a burger and a bottle of wine (great news, it's BYO).
Head down on Wednesdays between 4.30pm and 5.30pm to catch their $5 cheeseburger special.
