THE VERDICT
Coffee connoisseurs better get to Venn quick smart to try the best brews in East Vic Park. Taking over the popular old Antz coffee spot, Venn specialises in the classic, all-time-favourite combination of coffees and bagels.
The eight different tasty bagels (such as blueberry, parmesan and thyme or spicy cajun) are toasted with a range of spreads, schmears & fillings. Sweet and savoury bagels aside, there are also Reuben sandwiches, croissants, cinnamon scrolls and more to satisfy your cravings. As you’re walking along Albany Highway, you’ll be able to spot Venn from its iconic mural by talented artist Ian Mutch.
The reason the coffee is so good at Venn is because they roast their own coffee beans. Bags of these can be found at the cafe’s retail section, or can even be delivered to your door. There are usually about 16 different beans to choose from, grouped into six main flavours, ranging from herbal spicy to chocolate. You’ll also want to try their cold brew, available on tap or in a can to takeaway.
Despite only opening in 2021, this East Vic Park coffee joint has proved to be so popular they’ve already opened a second cafe called Little Venn within the same year. You’ll find this second, slightly smaller cafe just on the other side of Albany Highway. Next time you’re in Perth’s eastern suburbs, do yourself a favour and swing by Venn for a quality cup of joe.
