The Verdict
Yabba Dabba is the hidden gem that Dalkeith locals don't want you to know about. The huge menu is full of delicious Mod Oz eats from steak sangas and cheese burgers to braised beef cheeks and a killer scotch fillet, but they also have a great range of pizzas (which are available to take away if you fancy a night on the couch).
If you're there for dinner, you can't go past the tasting plate of polenta chips, arancini, olives, fresh mozzarella, balsamic mushrooms, marinated peppers, chorizo and jamon! The Shark Bay crab spaghettini is full of flavour and cooked to perfection, and the lamb ragout is so tender you'll be falling over yourself to get another forkful!
Seafood lovers will want to try the chilli prawn and squid pizza, and if you're up for something a bit different, the Peking duck pizza will be right up your alley. We're also a huge fan of the fig jam pizza—it's the perfect combo of salty and sweet!
While we would struggle to go past those mains, we're also pretty big fans of the fact that you can order smashed avo or bacon and eggs for breakfast, lunch OR dinner. Win!

Gibney
White tablecloths, marble, jacketed wait staff and caviar bumps—Gibney is hands down the fanciest of all the venues under George Kailis' name. And honestly, it might just take the cake for 'most opulent dining destination' in all of Perth.
Tom’s Providore & Wine Bar
If you’re a Leederville local, you will probably recall the devastation felt the day we discovered the beloved Tom’s Cafe right in the heart of Oxford Street was closing down towards the start of the pandemic. But thankfully since closing the OG, the legends have come back with a new and improved Tom’s in Highgate.
