Asia’s biggest night in cocktails is officially locked in. Asia’s 50 Best Bars will return to Macau for a second year running, with the 2026 edition set to take over Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace on 28 July. The live awards ceremony (widely considered the region’s ultimate bar industry benchmark) will once again bring together Asia’s top bartenders, bar owners and drinks experts for a high-energy celebration of the continent’s thriving cocktail culture.

If you need a refresher, the list is decided by the Asia’s 50 Best Bars Academy—a panel of more than 300 industry insiders spanning bartenders, bar owners, writers and cocktail aficionados. Each member votes based on their best bar experiences across the region, with results independently verified by Deloitte to keep things legit. Translation: this isn’t just hype, it’s one of the most credible rankings in the drinks world.

Beyond the headline awards, the multi-day programme is shaping up to be a full-on industry playground. Expect curated events like the Bartenders’ Feast spotlighting Macau’s food and drink scene, plus intimate sessions like Meet the Bartenders, where media and industry insiders get up close with the talent behind the bars. The main event will wrap with a red carpet affair and the big reveal of The Best Bar in Asia 2026.

In the lead-up, a series of special awards will drop (including honours for standout hospitality and industry icons) alongside the extended 51–100 list, shining a light on even more of Asia’s must-visit bars. For those not making the trip, the entire ceremony will be streamed live, so you can still tune in as the region’s best bars shake things up and claim their spot on the list.
