Asia’s dining scene has spoken, and for 2026, Hong Kong’s The Chairman is officially back on top, reclaiming the No.1 position at the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards for the first time since 2021. But while the headline win goes to Hong Kong, Singapore’s fine dining heavyweights continue to prove the Lion City is more than holding its own, clocking six restaurants on the prestigious list and cementing its status as one of the region’s culinary powerhouses.

Leading the charge for Singapore is Odette (No.19), which once again nabs the title of Best Restaurant in Singapore. Chef Julien Royer’s polished French fine dining institution continues to deliver, with wine director Lesley Liu also taking home Asia’s Best Sommelier award. If you’re hunting for one of the best fine dining experiences in Singapore right now, this is still the benchmark.

Hot on its heels is Seroja (No.20), where chef Kevin Wong’s deeply personal take on Malay Archipelago cuisine continues to gain regional recognition. It’s the kind of place that feels both rooted and progressive—exactly what Singapore’s dining scene does best.

Elsewhere, Singapore’s diversity is on full display across the list. Born (No.23) blends French technique with Chinese philosophy in a restored heritage space, while stalwart Les Amis (No.38) remains a consistent fine dining favourite. Rounding things out, Labyrinth (No.40) continues to push modern Singaporean cuisine forward, and Nae:Um (No.45) earns a spot for its contemporary take on Korean dining.

Zooming out, this year’s list spans 17 cities and reflects just how competitive (and creative) Asia’s dining landscape has become. Bangkok leads with the most entries, while Tokyo follows closely behind, but Singapore stands shoulder to shoulder with heavyweights like Hong Kong and Seoul, each boasting six spots in the top 50.

While The Chairman may have taken the crown, Singapore’s restaurants are still very much in the conversation, serving up everything from refined tasting menus to bold, modern Asian storytelling on a plate. And if you’re building your hit list of the best restaurants in Singapore for 2026, this is a pretty solid place to start.
