An entire festival dedicated to dessert is popping up on the Sunshine Coast this month and we’re beside ourselves.
For one sweet day, the Sunshine Coast Dessert Festival will take over Palmview with a deluge of your dessert favourites, dished up by local and regional food trucks and stalls.
Prepare your stomachs and your soon-to-be expanding waistlines for an onslaught of desserts including ice cream, cakes, slices, donuts, lollies, crepes and other delectable goodies, from dozens of food outlets throughout the theme park from 10am to 7pm.
On top of all the delectable treats, there will also be a special guest present: swing by and say hi to Sydney cake queen Katherine Sabbath, who will be hosting live baking demonstrations throughout the day.
Entry prices range from $10 for the Sundae’s & Sessions for entry after 3pm, to the All Day Ticket exploring over 30 stalls for just $12.
If you really want to go all out, the Golden Ticket will set you back $50, which will give you 6 Golden Tickets redeemable on "Golden Items" around the festival, as well as access to jump the queue. Pretty sweet deal.
So, if you’re looking for things to do on the Sunshine Coast this month, jot this one down.
