Just 45-Minutes From Brisbane, This Quirky Treehouse Has Its Own Charming Outdoor Bath
It’s not often you arrive at an Airbnb in the knowledge you need to “look for the gnomes on the fence line” to find your secret spot.
At the gorgeously romantic Ting Tong Treehouse that’s just what you need to do—find those pesky gnomes, and then head towards the garden arch before parking the car and following the winding brick path to your cosy Queensland escape.

To say it’s cute doesn’t cut it. This one-bedroom home, that occupies a spot just 45 minutes’ drive from Brisbane, is hand-crafted from recycled materials and inside you’re greeted by a whole heap of character.
You get a queen-size bed in the bedroom, as well as a single in the living space if you need it. There’s a full kitchen too, for whipping up a feast—but potter to the bathroom and prepare to be amazed.
In the centre of the room you’ll find an actual polished tree trunk, reaching from the floor to the ceiling. Leaded windows and a glass basin just add to the quirky vibe.
All that, before you’ve even stepped foot outside.

There on the deck, you’ll find a second bathroom—with a charming clawfoot bath for romantic soaks, a basin and mirror and an outdoor shower.
In the garden, there’s a fire pit you can cook on if you choose, and you get your very own undercover dining area, with a hanging chandelier, barbecue and hammock for chill time.

Talking of chilling, the legends that own this place also give you the option of treating yourself to a remedial and relaxation massage for an additional fee. Just text the host to book.
