To help you keep the love alive or make a lasting impression on a new special someone, we’ve scoped the best things to do on the Sunshine Coast this Valentine’s Day. 

Special Outdoor Cinema at Spicers Tamarind Retreat

Paint and Sip Social at The Art Hub 

For a date with a difference, set those creative juices flowing with a paint and sip class at Caloundra’s Art Hub where you’ll be painting your date, Picasso-style. To loosen the nerves, bring your own favourite drop of vino and be guided step-by-step by an Art Hub artist until you have a finished canvas ready for mounting. Making memories never felt so good. Valentine’s Day Degustation at Corbin’s

Get into the rhythm of February’s main event with a Unico Zelo wine-matched degustation dinner at Corbin’s Kitchen and Bar. There’s no doubt the menu offering of okonomiyaki-styled scallops and swordfish with bonito flakes and sesame will impress your long-term love or a spicy new flame. And, that’s just the entree. His and Hers Feast at Land & Sea 

Land & Sea make Valentine’s Day easy with the hippest ‘His and Her’ dinner package around town. Candlelight Dinner at Orleans

Treat the object of your affection to a four-course tasting menu within the candlelit ambience of Orleans in Maroochydore. If your appetite is not quite four-course strong, then you’re welcome to indulge in the regular a la carte menu that we know these guys for. And for those chasing some cliché-cool date vibes, Orleans will gladly organise a rose for your table from That Little Flower Shop. It doesn’t get much easier than this.

Pasta Parmigiana Reggiano Cheese Wheel at Il Vento

If you’ve never experienced the magic of a cheese wheel, you’ll want to reserve a spot a Mooloolaba’s Il Vento, pronto! Guests will be treated to a Valentine’s Spritz upon arrival before settling down for three Italian courses including a focaccia Milanese entrée, raspberry Panna Cotta dessert and the star of the show, a linguine parmigiana Reggiano cheese wheel. Dinner at Noosa Boathouse

When you know your date is the kind of person who prefers options, then dinner at Noosa Boathouse will be one of your safest bets this Valentine’s Day on the Sunshine Coast.  Offering two separate menu options, you’ll get to decide between a three-tiered seafood tower for two plus a shared chocolate dessert plate or,  a four-course meal featuring fresh and local flavours.
