World Environment Day Festival
This year’s World Environment Day Festival comes at a fitting time. With so much uncertainty ahead, the WED Festival is a chance to celebrate our unique environment in a positive way. The program is a mash up of live performances, a renewables expo, food and farm expo, sustainable market stalls, meet-and-greets with local community groups and loads more. Your Mates Brewing Co. will take care of any thirstiness and there will also be delicious wholesome food up for grabs.

Sunshine Coast Colour Frenzy
Our favourite happy, colour-smattered fun run is back, so it’s time to pull out your brightest exercise gear. The 5km Sunshine Coast Colour Frenzy run or walk will take place at Lake Kawana near Sunshine Coast Stadium, and with only 1000 spots total, you’d best be nabbing a place fast, if you haven’t already. This event is completely self-paced and family-friendly, and you can find out more information here.

Free Burger Day
To celebrate one whole year of dishing up mouth-watering burgers from their Maroochydore restaurant, DownTown is giving us all a present. Yep, you read that right. These guys are going to be serving up drool-worthy, juicy burgers for no charge at all on Wednesday 5 June at both their Nambour and Maroochydore venues. How good is that?!

Sea & Sound
When it comes to live music, Sea & Sound are bringing back the goods in 2019. Gathered Winter Market
After the massive success of their first market, Gathered is back with a special event to celebrate the beginning of winter. This seasonal market showcases stunning sustainable, organic, artisanal and fair-trade homewares and clothing from Sunshine Coast makers, creatives and designers, so it’ll be a challenge to leave empty-handed. Brands you can expect to see include, Organic Nights, Botanist Aromatherapist, Go For Zero, My Little Plot and a bunch more. Don’t leave without heading inside to feast on all of Café Vie’s vegan eats.

Moto Tap Takeover
Shake up your regular Sunday session antics and head to Moto for their Tap Takeover. Showcasing the goods from two epic Sunshine Coast breweries—Heads of Noosa Brewing Co. and the soon-to-be-opened Boiling Pot Brewing Co., there’ll be six taps pouring coldies, plus a whole fridge brimming with local beer. Sit back and relax to live tunes from Shannon Sol Carrol or chat with the brewers to find out exactly what goes into your ale.

Sunshine Coast Show
Taking place over three huge days, the Sunshine Coast Show truly has something for everyone. In its 114th year, you can expect everything from live entertainment to agricultural shows. Our pick? Hit Craft Beer Alley, where a whole section of the food pavilion is dedicated to beer education.

When you want to head out for dinner in Noosa, it can be really tough deciding where to go. Noosa Amour takes away the hard part (read: choosing) and brings together the chefs from four of Noosa’s best restaurants for one epic dining experience. Hosted at Wood Fire Grill, you’ll dine on four courses created at the hands of Josh Smallwood (Executive Chef at Rickys and Wood Fire Grill), Mitch Bodycote (Sous Chef at Wood Fire Grill), Andy Davies (Head Chef at Locale)and Jules Santisi (Head Chef at aromas). Jack McCoy Talk Story
For one special night only, award-winning Hawaiian filmmaker Jack McCoy is taking the floor at Land & Sea Brewery to share his stories as a director, cinematographer and producer of more than 25 iconic surf films. The interactive talk will also include film clips and a chat with Australian surfing legend, Wayne Lynch. Tickets are limited, so surfers and surf fans, jump on it.

LOLbar At Solbar
Solbar’s comedy night, LOLbar, is sure to be a winner this June with Brisbanite Suraj Korlarakar taking to the stage with his show. If you’re an avocado-smashing, selfie-taking millennial or are millennial-curious, book a seat to hear a bunch of funny tales about people you likely know. Or feel like you know.

Sunshine Coast Fashion Market
Save your pennies and head along to the Sunshine Coast Fashion Market this June. Here, you’ll be able to bag enough goodies for a complete wardrobe refresh and do it on a budget. Kenilworth Food Fest
Take a Saturday drive through the hinterland to the country town of Kenilworth for their annual food festival. The Hinterland Craft Beer Festival
Held at The Imperial Hotel in Eumundi, the Hinterland Craft Beer Festival is a beer-lover’s paradise. Round up your mates to talk about beer, enjoy tastings and learn brewing tips and tricks, at this free event. Along with the tasty drops, there will be a spread of delicious street food on offer, along with live music to toe tap the afternoon away to.

Sunshine Coast Surf Film Festival
The third Sunshine Coast Surf Film Festival kicked off at the end of May, and continues through June, with screenings taking place weekly in Caloundra. Time Well Spent, Satori & To The Sea, Women In Surf and Shaka, will all be popping up on the big screen. For more information, click here.
