Laneway Festival Just Dropped Their 2027 Dates, But Two Aussie Cities Have Been Left Off The List

Festival season is already starting to take shape, with Laneway Festival 2027 officially locking in its dates and venues for next February.

Announced this morning, the beloved fest will return for four massive dates across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Auckland in February 2027. The not-so-great news? Perth and Adelaide (for the second year in a row) have officially been left off the touring schedule this time around.

The scaled-back run will kick off at Sydney's Centennial Park on Friday 12 February, before heading to Brisbane Showgrounds the following day. After a few days to recover, it'll take over Melbourne's Flemington Park on Friday 19 February before wrapping things up across the ditch at Auckland's Western Springs on Sunday 21 February.

As for who we'll actually be seeing on stage? That's still firmly under wraps. The Laneway Festival 2027 lineup is set to drop in late September, with another huge collection of local and international artists promised.

It follows a massive 2026 festival led by Chappell Roan, alongside the likes of Wolf Alice, Role Model, Wet Leg, PinkPantheress and Geese—so safe to say expectations for the next lineup are already running pretty high in the U:L office today.

Why Isn't Laneway Festival 2027 Coming To Perth Or Adelaide?

Unfortunately for our west and south coast mates won't receive Laneway Festival 2027 dates, with organisers previously explaining that too many shows across the country creates too tight a window for logistics and crew (*cries*). There is a little hope, though, as organisers stressed the move isn't necessarily permanent, describing it as "see you soon" rather than goodbye.
