Lasagna is always a good idea, which is why it’s time you wrapped your lips around Sydney’s sweet take on the age-old Italian dish.
Yes, dessert lasagna exists in our glorious city, and yep you could be smacking down on the good stuff sooner rather than later. Taking up some serious space on Tella Balls Dessert Bar’s cake and waffle-packed menu is the dessert bar’s signature "Tella Lasagne" and spoiler, it’s a decadent stack of absolute deliciousness.
The OG here is the Nutella Lasagne, a layered beauty made up of chocolate mousse, fresh cream, chocolate biscuit layers, lashing of Nutella and a solid scoop of vanilla bean gelato.
Golden Gaytime fanatics will also find a dessert lasagna loaded with Golden Gaytime mousse, fresh cream, Golden Gaytime crumb (God’s crack for foodies), caramel sauce and of course, Golden Gaytime Gelato.
Tell Balls' dessert lasagne is available for takeaway and it'll only set you back $15 a pop.
Currently Tella Balls' Wetherill Park, Liverpool, and Ramsgate stores are closed until further notice due to lockdown. Dulwich Hill, Ramsgate, Castle Towers, Maitland, Market City and Jamisontown are open for takeaway. Stay up to date here.
