Olivia Dean Performs Next Week: Here’s Everything You Need To Know
She's a style icon, an overnight success, and the soundtrack for anyone falling in love across the world—the queen, Miss Olivia Dean, lands in Sydney next Thursday 20 November. If you were lucky enough to get through that stacked Ticketmaster queue and score a spot, we salute you. If you weren't, we apologise—this one's going to hurt.
Here's everything you need to know before heading out to the harbour, so you can rock up in time (and hopefully get the best seat in the house).

How Do I Get To The Fleet Steps?

A unique and gorgeous venue for a unique and gorgeous lady—we know most of the audience might not have had to travel to the Fleet Steps for a concert before, so we've got you covered.
The venue itself brings the drama—panoramic views of Sydney Harbour, including the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, and the city skyline. Located in the Royal Botanic Garden, just beyond The Domain at Mrs Macquaries Point.
Being so close to the CBD, the best bet for travel is always going to be public transport—the closest train station is St James, and the closest metro is Martin Place. From there, wander on down to the gardens (singing as you go?). You can also hop off the ferry at Circular Quay and walk around the point from there.
Insider Intel
- Roads near the gardens are normally closed off the morning of an event, so plan ahead if the taxi or rideshare route is your preference.
What Time Should I Arrive?
The show is kicking off at 7pm—leaving plenty of time to leave the office, get dolled up and have a champers. However, we would play it safe and leave a little earlier than you think you need. Combining peak-hour Sydney traffic with a sold-out show in the CBD is often a recipe for disaster.
As this is a side-show following her ARIA performance on Wednesday 19 November, she doesn't appear to have an opening act—so turning up on time is key.
Insider intel
- It's also an outdoor venue, and Livvie is performing rain, hail or shine—so do yourself a favour, and check the forecast before you leave the house.
The Set List: Our Guesses

While there's no official setlist for her Sydney show, we've conducted some serious research (we scrolled through TikTok and watched a million clips) to bring you our best guesses of the songs you should be spamming in preparation.
Of course, you have to be all over her older staples: Ok Love You Bye, Dive, The Hardest Part and Be My Own Boyfriend are a great place to start—we think these will be a safe bet if she branches out on the discography, and are songs she's performed before.
In terms of the new releases, if you haven't been blasting The Art of Loving already...what are you doing? Crowd favourites, of course, are So Easy (To Fall In Love), Nice To Each Other, and Man I Need—even if you don't know, you'll know, as they've been popping off on the FYP for months.
We are definitely holding out hope to still hear Baby Steps, I've Seen It, Lady Lady, and Something Inbetween—what can we say, it's a no-skip album.
Insider intel
- While we don't think we'll be hearing her Reign Me In feature on Thursday, his show happens to be the very next night. So if you managed to get tickets to that, but missed out on Olivia, we are sensing a surprise duet in Sydney's future (or just hoping they see this, and follow through).
