Road Trip To This Epic Pie Festival This Weekend

By Jessica Best
28th Jun 2019

If you didn’t know, Pie Time 2019 is on the home stretch which means you have some serious and delicious road-tripping to do this weekend.

If you’ve missed all previous Pie Time antics, fear not, there’s still plenty of pie to go around this weekend in the dreamy Southern Highlands. You can hit up Pie Cycle and wine tours which kick off at Cuttaway Hill Wines in Exeter and finish up at Farm Club Australia in Werai and yes, you’ll be going hard on the good stuff and trying a whole heap of pies.

If you’d rather do it all yourself, there’s also a Pie Trail to work your way through so you can sample close to 30 local pie outlets across the region. In other words, brace yourself for vegan roast pumpkin pies from Four Seasons Bistro, red lentil curry pies from Heatherbrae’s Pies and a cheddar pie from Stones Patisseries.

Along with these, there’s also a heap of long pie lunches, a pie festival in Bowral showcasing a “Best Pie Competition” and a pie and pinot cooking class to get around.

Head here for all the details.
