Remember Welcome To Bowen Hills' mega laneway gin festivals? Well, the King Street bar may have morphed into the much more arty, community-focused and retro-freeling Space & Co, but the gin festivals continue, with the new and improved Summer Gin Fest set to take over the bar and its laneway this November.
Taking place over two days, this will be a boozy blowout that will be loaded with stalls, tastings and all the signature cocktails you could need to kickstart your weekend. Restrictions mean you will need to grab tickets (at $20 a pop) in advance, with sessions from 12pm–6pm on either Friday 5 or Saturday 6 November.
With international borders still closed, you can expect a pretty hefty focus on local gin juggernauts, including the likes of Cape Byron Distillery, Brookies, Australian Distilling Co, Larrikin Gin, Brockmans Gin, The West Winds Gin and Wolf Lane Distillery. Across both days, you will be able to peruse the many gin stallholders, sample signature G&Ts and bespoke cocktails, chat to gin makers, feast on festival snacks and even take home a bottle of your favourite gin.
Keen for bulk G&Ts? You can suss out all the details and grab your tickets to Summer Gin Fest here.
