A Gritty Crime Series Set In Fortitude Valley Will Begin Filming This April

Fortitude Valley—aka the backdrop to many of your late-night shenanigans—is officially getting the silver screen treatment with ABC announcing a gritty new crime series set in its midst.
Aptly named ‘Fortitude Valley’, the suspenseful crime thriller will focus on Brisbane’s underbelly “exploring family secrets, the corrupting force of power and the complicated truths behind the lies we tell”. The six-part series is set to begin filming in Brisbane this April with its leading stars ready to rumble: the award-winning First Nations actor Hunter Page-Lochard (Cleverman, The Newsreader) and the acclaimed Kat Stewart (Offspring, Underbelly).
