If you like your food fresh, fast and famous, then get keen because American burger joint Wendy’s is finally coming to Brisbane—opening a global-first flagship restaurant designed to bring Wendy’s sassy personality to life.

Haus of Wendy’s is a bold showcase of everything that has made Wendy’s stand out from the crowd since ‘69. Sitting right in the heart of the action overlooking King George Square, the innovative restaurant concept lets you explore uniquely themed rooms inspired by the red-headed icon—in a memorable collision of design, culture and play.

“This is about embedding Wendy’s into the cultural fabric of Australia,” said Corina Black, Chief Marketing Officer Wendy’s ANZ. “Our Brisbane flagship sets the tone for the decade ahead, a brand experience that’s fresh, premium, and unapologetically bold.”

On the menu, you can expect Wendy’s signature made-to-order square hamburgers, fan-favourite spicy chicken tenders and Frosty dessert that’s just as good on a spoon as it is on your fries. Will it make the cut of Brisbane’s best burgers? Only time will tell.

Haus of Wendy’s Brisbane  will build on the success of Wendy’s Gold Coast debut earlier this year, with plans for 200 restaurants to open across Australia in the next decade.

“This flagship is more than a restaurant, it’s a statement of intent,” said Richard Wallis, President of Flynn Group Asia Pacific—Wendy’s franchise operator. “Brisbane is one of Australia’s most dynamic cities, and the perfect stage to show how Wendy’s stands apart, with quality food, an immersive experience, and a brand that’s impossible to ignore.”

Haus of Wendy’s is set to open in October 2025.
