Whether you tuck into seafood feasts every weekend or you’re only an occasional seafood eater, there’s no doubt that lobster is the pinnacle of the shellfish world. Even oysters have become a regular fixture on menus thanks to all those $1 oyster nights, but lobster? Well, it’s still the top shelf, ‘wait for a special occasion’ kind of crustacean—until One Fish Two Fish’s Lobster Day feast rolls around, anyway.
Going all out to celebrate Lobster Day this year, the Kangaroo Point restaurant will be dishing up an extravagant three-course lobster feast over five days, from Wednesday 23 September to Friday 25 September and again on Wednesday 30 September and Thursday 1 October. For just $79 per person, you’ll be able to tuck into a classic lobster bisque to start, followed by a brioche roll stuffed with sriracha mayo and scampi caviar, finishing off with grilled Western Rock Lobster on house-made tagliatelle with tarragon butter.
The whole menu is only available for dinner on the Wednesday and Thursday dates and lunch on Friday, and you’ll want to get in quick, because spots are limited. Check out all the details and make a reservation here.
