Anyone who’s been to The Bathhouse Albion will tell you a sense of calm takes over from your first step inside and you’ll only become more at peace as you journey from the saunas to the hot pools. For southsiders, that bubble will easily burst when you have to make the trek back home over the river, which is why we’re so stoked that the luxury wellness destination is coming to Fish Lane.

The Bathhouse Fish Lane will be just as restorative as its predecessor and equally as easy on the eyes. It’ll be adjacent to the new Hotel Terminus, with an architecturally designed fit-out by Hogg & Lamb (they were also behind The Bathhouse Albion as well as James St spots like Sunshine and Gemelli to name a few). Think atmospheric lighting to put you at ease, an abundance of silver travertine stone for cave-like harmony and a nod to European bathhouses of yesteryear.

You can choose-your-own ritual with expertly curated amenities including a 38-degree heated pool, 12-degree cold pool, and a 34-degree ambient pool. There will also be two traditional saunas and two infrared saunas, plus a scented steam room and a relaxation lounge with a fireplace you can cosy up by with a tea in hand. Once you pry yourself away, Dyson tools and Sans[ceuticals] products will get you ready to return to reality feeling better than ever before.

The Fish Lane opening is just the latest chapter in what’s been a serious growth spurt for the award-winning wellness experience, with their recently opened Queenstown destination and a Sydney location just announced. Fish Lane itself also continues to cement itself as one of Brisbane’s best precincts, with the likes of Marlowe and Brooki Bakehouse’s biggest flagship store shaking it up.

“Since opening in Albion, we've seen what it means to people to have a space that provides complete relaxation and rejuvenation in a luxury setting—beautiful scents and sounds, no phones, unlimited towels,” said The Bathhouse Group’s director (lifestyle), Hannah Hardy.

“In just two years, The Bathhouse has been recognised as the Best Luxury Bathhouse Globally, alongside wins across the World Luxury Awards and INDE.Awards for design and wellbeing. We’re thrilled the spaces we've built resonate far beyond Brisbane, and we’re honoured to bring this luxury experience to the world-class Fish Lane precinct.”

The Bathhouse Fish Lane is expected to open in 2027. You can register here to be the first to experience it.
