There’s the theatrical Melting Chocolate Egg Fondue where you can watch a massive egg melt before your eyes—served with dippable treats like marshmallows, berries, brownies, rocky road and more. Or, get your pinkies up with their decadent Easter high tea full of sweet and savoury delights. The Belle Epoque cabinet is also brimming with Easter-inspired goodness like a truffle-filled chocolate egg, a chocolate Easter bunny and themed cakes.

Almost too pretty to eat (almost), Lune Croissanterie is pulling out all the stops with an incredible Easter-themed creation. Available from 26 March, The Nest is a chocolate escargot filled with salted caramel creme pastry, chocolate chips and flaked salt, then topped with chocolate ganache, chocolate-covered coconut, and toasted croissant-filled chocolate eggs. 

Hot Cross Bun Gelato at Baker D Chirico

The good folk at Baker D. Chirico have teamed up with local legends La Macelleria to create an absolute masterpiece—traditional hot cross buns churned into gelato then layered back into ice cream sandwiches. It’s soft, spiced and so darn good.

Idle Bakery

The certified pastry connoisseurs at Idle have put their heads together to create a truly special lineup this Easter. From the cross laminated rhubarb cream egg filled with mascarpone cream to the three-layered carrot cake, you can pre-order now here or try your luck at the cabinet from Monday 30 March.

Nodo’s gluten-free donuts have received an Easter Bunny-approved glow up this season. Available until 4 April, the exclusive flavours include spiced carrot cafe with citrus cream, biscoff lamington, the freckle bunny and caramel egg. The CBD’s hidden izakaya-style bar is now a little more whimsical thanks to the return of this indulgent Easter-inspired high tea. Available for the month of April at Bar 1603, you can expect sweet and savoury bites with a Japanese touch like yuzu custard bunny teacups, wagyu mini burgers and matcha macarons. The $99pp experience includes a glass of Veuve Tailhan Blanc de Blancs on arrival, plus you can add-on the Easter Blossom Bliss cocktail with Japanese cherry and chilli chocolate infused umeshu. 10,000 Easter Egg Hunt at Howard Smith Wharves

Brisbane’s biggest-ever Easter egg hunt is happening at Howard Smith Wharves this Easter Sunday and it’s guaranteed to get your step count up. From 10am, your little one is invited to BYO basket and take part in the hunt on the Main Lawn and Felons Fish n’ Chipper Lawn. There’ll also be arcade games, balloon twisting, face painting, and reptile shows to make this a day to remember. Find out more here.

Bluey’s World is getting in on the Easter fun with themed treats and craft sessions happening until Sunday 19 April. The rolling greens of Roma Street Parkland will transform into a colourful Easter playground over the long weekend—and it’s totally free. Discover a whimsical Mad Hatter’s Tea party-themed adventure trail your kids will love to explore with a special reward at the end, plus disco dance parties, circus skills workshops and Easter bonnet making. There’ll also be an Easter bonnet parade led by the Mad Hatter, giant lawn games and food trucks serving sweet treats daily from 9am to 1pm. We even hear the Easter Bunny is taking some time to say hello on Sunday.

Paint A Bunny at Cork & Chroma

South Bank’s favourite paint and sip spot Cork & Chroma is hosting an Easter-themed session on Sunday 5 April where you’ll bring to life the most adorable bunny sitting in a field (book here). You can also swing by their art cafe from Friday to Sunday for drop-in painting and craft activities. 

All Aboard The Xpress Fun Train

On Saturday 28 March, Portside Wharf is hosting their biggest-ever Easter egg hunt with ten giant eggs hidden around the precinct full of vouchers, freebies and treats. It all kicks off at 11am with the Easter Bunny roaming around until 2pm to hand out complimentary gift packs for the kids.
