So, frock up or down, and grab your groceries, fashion buys and Aunty Nelly’s birthday pressie, thanks to this all-in-one hitlist. Take your pick of all the best markets on the Gold Coast worth visiting this November!

Late-night shopping and eating = hell yes! 

Laneway Official Night Market 

The star attraction at Laneway Official and Arthaus Projects’ intimate Friday night market is Byron Bay’s groove-worthy reggae roots rocker, Pauly P. Bringing the weekend vibes with pop-up designer and artist markets and street chews by Notorious EATS, pop down to Mermaid Beach and get friendly with a chill crowd. 

When: Friday 3 November; 6pm to 9pm 
Where: 2/5 Karen Avenue, Mermaid Beach

Chinatown Street Markets 

Kicking off a busy month of market hopping, dig your teeth into some delicious Asian street food at Southport’s monthly Chinatown Street Markets. This tasty ethnic precinct is really getting its hustle and bustle on, and is a fun (not to mention drool-worthy) way to celebrate our multi-cultural community. 

When: Saturday 4 November; 5pm to 9pm
Where: Davenport and Young Streets, Southport

Club Robina Bowls Club Night Markets 

The Social Markets took a hiatus over winter, though they’re back to celebrate springtime and warmer nights, with a new location. Head to Club Robina Bowls Club Night Markets this weekend for that chill community vibe, makers’ stalls, food trucks, loads of kids entertainment and, of course, free bowls with yo’ shoes off. 

When: Saturday 4 November; 4pm to 9pm

The Green Marquee Eco Twilight Markets 

The Green Marquee’s first twilight edition was loved by those who attended, which means it’s here to stay for summer! Expect all the feel-good community vibes as you wander around market stalls adorned with handmade jewellery, textiles, ceramics, vegan skincare, hanging plants; plus delish food trucks, live music to get you grooving, Eco Explorer activities for the kids and local brewskies from Black Hops for the adults. 

When: Friday 10 November; 4pm to 9pm
Where: The Ecovillage, 2 Village Way, Currumbin Valley

The Social Markets

This spring, The Social Markets are back into regular rotation on the last Saturday of the month. So, take your posse to Mermaid Beach Bowls Club for market stalls galore, pop-up bars and food vendors, live tunes and DJ, barefoot bowls under lights and a cheery crowd. Cheers to spring!

When: Saturday 25 November; 4pm to 9pm

Miami Marketta

It’s a Friday or Saturday night and you’ve got no desire to cook dinner. But you’ve only got $20 in the kitty, so heading to your fave sit-down restaurant is a total stretch. So, what’s a hungry, not-keen-to-cook person to do? Two words—Miami Marketta. This long-established gem is held every Friday and Saturday night (and on a smaller scale on Wednesdays) and pulls together some of the best ethnic food stalls from across the Coast. Pair it with an electric vibe, revolving roster of toe-tapping bands and DJs, multiple cocktail bars, a dessert hall, fashion stalls and a buzzing family-friendly crowd, and you’ve got one of the absolute best markets on the Gold Coast.

When: Every Wednesday (5pm to 9pm), Friday (5pm to 11pm) and Saturday (4pm to 11pm) 
Where: 23 Hillcrest Parade, Miami 


Everybody has to go to Helensvale’s NightQuarter at least once. Why? Because this buzzing night marketplace really is something else. Held every Friday and Saturday night from 4pm, it brings together ridic food and drink stalls (do NOT eat dinner before you get here), dessert carts and musicians, all in a well-organised jumble of up-cycled shipping containers. Let it be said though, that this night market gets packed. As in PACKED, packed. So, bring $3 coinage for entry, your lazy weekend mood and just go with the flow. 

When: Every Friday and Saturday night; 4pm to 10pm 
Where: 1 Town Centre Drive, Helensvale 

Sanctuary Markets 

Great for a delish and fast feed, this family-friendly market is held in the space adjoining the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and is filled with international food tents and trailers. Keep this community feel-good market in mind, if a stroll followed by plenty of street eats sounds like your kind of way to end the perfect beach day.

When: Every Friday night; 4pm to 9pm

The Village Markets

Muse over local designers, shoulder sway to live musicians and dig your teeth into some delicious street food at Gold Coast’s bi-monthly Sunday ritual, The Village Markets. We can almost guarantee you’ll be walking away with an empty wallet with the likes of ceramics, homewares, bohemian threads and accessories, all-natural beauty products, babies wear so adorable your ovaries will burst, and oh so much more. Are you searching for one of the very best markets on the Gold Coast? Well, you’ve come to the right place. 

When: Sunday 5 & 19 November; 8:30am to 1pm
Where: Burleigh Heads State School, 1750 Gold Coast Highway, Burleigh Heads

LC Sundays Vegan Market

Lovechild Place’s LC Sundays vegan market will be bringing the plant-loving vibes to November, again gathering together various vegan vendors selling treats that’ll make any foodie weak in the knees. Add to that, DJs tunes, animal product-free fashion threads, plants, flowers and all the warm and fuzzy feels. 

When: Sunday 5 November; 10am to 3pm  
Where: 1/2436 Gold Coast Highway, Mermaid Beach 

Mount Tamborine Country Markets 

So, maybe you don’t need to stock up on polish for your horse saddle. And maybe your teapot isn’t in need of a new crochet jumper. But we challenge you to find a more uplifting market experience than the Mount Tamborine Country Market. Held in the Tamborine Mountain Showgrounds on the second Sunday of every month, it’s the perfect excuse to take a country drive, gnaw on a cob of corn and pick up some homemade lemongrass and lavender soap.

When: Sunday 12 November; 7:30am to 1:30pm
Where: Corner Main Western Road and Bartle Road, Mount Tamborine 

Murwillumbah’s Makers & Finders Market 

If you’ve not ventured down to Murwillumbah for a while, the rural town’s hip new vintage, handmade and flea market is a very good reason to pack the car, your mates and your favourite tunes, before plunging into the countryside for some of that welcomed fresh air. The new Makers & Finders Market is an intriguing blend of pre-loved finds, potters, homewares, food stalls, workshops and music.

When: Saturday 18 November; 9am to 3pm
Where: Knox Park, Brisbane Street, Murwillumbah

Jack Evans Boat Harbour Lifestyle Markets 

The Social Markets have spread their wings south, adding Jack Evans Boat Harbour Lifestyle Markets to their rotating monthly roster. Popping up on the third Sunday of each month, with food trucks, local fresh produce, yoga on the beach, flea market and rummage sales, kid’s entertainment, classic cars, live beats and drinks— alfresco-style. This family and dog-friendly event will include, get this, dog wash and grooming services, so your fave four-legged friend can walk away feeling pimp! They’ve thought of everything. 
When: Sunday 19 November; 8am to 2pm
Where: Jack Evans Boat Harbour, Coral Street, Tweed Heads 

Hide & Seek Children’s Market

After the success of its first market, Hide & Seek is back for its summer edition. Dedicated to all things babes and children, expect beautifully-crafted clothing and accessories, decor, toys, furnishings, family photographers, doulas and oh so much more. Stallholders are handpicked, with an emphasis on those using quality materials and goods that are ethically produced. Adding to the whimsical family-friendly atmosphere at Hide & Seek, there will be yummy food trucks with eats for both the big and little kids, live music, story telling and kids crafts activities. PS: Christmas is just around the corner… perfect timing to get in for those local gifts. #shopsmall

Palm Beach Farmers Market

A weekly must-do on any Palm Beach or Currumbin dwellers’ weekend social calendar, the Palm Beach Farmers Markets is one of the best markets on the Gold Coast. This well-patronised market has truckloads of local, leafy, tasty things to eat, so if you’re in charge of the BBQ salad this weekend, make sure you stop here. This is also a plastic bag-free market, so BYO reusable vessel to carry your goodies. 

When: Every Saturday; 6am to 11:30am
Where: Palm Beach Currumbin High School, Thrower Drive, Palm Beach

Burleigh Farmers Market 

If hay barrels and homemade chutneys are your weekend jam, then trot along to the Burleigh Farmers Markets on any given Saturday from 7am until noon, where an abundance of farm fresh produce sits amongst flower pop-ups, collectables and international street food stalls. Clear your afternoon post visit, you’ll be in the stay-at-home-and-bake-apple-strudel kind of mood.

When: Every Saturday morning; 7am to noon

Helensvale Farmers Market

An oldie but a goodie, this northern Gold Coast market has everything you need—and plenty you don’t, but you want anyway. From fresh fruit and veg to flowers and, of course, loads of street food stalls, we love the leafy surrounds, cruisy live music and no-frills local vibe of this weekly gathering.

When: Every Saturday; 6am to 11:30am 
Where: Helensvale High School, Helensvale Road, Helensvale

Bundall Farmers Market

If you like your markets minus the hipsterness, Bundall Farmers Market is as down to earth as they come. Held every Sunday in the grounds of the Arts Centre Gold Coast, we suggest hitting a coffee stall for a steaming brew before filling up your netted bags with fresh produce, baked goodies and everything picnic-worthy. Then, use this picnic spot list to find the perfect posi to lay down your rug and brunch.

Organic Gold Coast Farmers Market

Do you get depressed when picking through the tiny all-organic veggie offerings at the local Woolies? Well, you’ll find mindful foodie nirvana at the Organic Gold Coast Farmers Market. Popping up at Miami State High School every Sunday morning, this super chill market stocks, you guessed it, nothing but sustainably sourced, spray and chemical-free produce. 

When: Every Sunday; 6am to 11:30am
