10 Of The Best Paradise Point Restaurants And Cafes In 2025

Waterfront mansions and laid back eateries collide at the Northern Gold Coast’s idyllic coastal village, Paradise Point. It’s the shoreline’s sprawling parklands and meandering bike path that make the backdrop of these Paradise Point restaurants so stunning.

For me, Paradise Point’s promenade is reminiscent of Burleigh Heads’ green spaces, its celebration of waterways mirrors Coolangatta’s and the relaxed vibe is giving Yamba. But the Northern Gold Coast/Kombumerri Country version.

You want a wine bar, a Euro pizza joint or neighbourhood haunt? Myself and the Urban List team are adamant that this is the up-and-coming suburb to sip, chomp and check out. Here are the very best Paradise Point restaurants in 2025.

Paradise Point’s Best Restaurants And Cafes At A Glance

Paradise Point Cafes

Burleigh Baker

Yes, Burleigh Baker has a Paradise Point locale, making their signature gut-friendly sourdough loaves available to Northern Gold Coasters. Though their cabinet of gourmet sausage rolls, fresh salads and loaded Reubens need not be overlooked.

It’s basically impossible to beat the bliss levels that a flaky almond croissant and piping hot organic coffee delivers at this joint. But try dunking your crossy in your cuppa and thank me later. A trip here wouldn’t be complete without checking out the adorable kids' boutique, Curious Joe just a few doors up. Read more.

Buoy Oh Buoy

27 Falkinder Ave, Paradise Point QLD 4216

For wholesome bowls loaded with fresh produce and doused in chipotle, look no further than Buoy Oh Buoy. It’s the coastal chic cafe serving ‘good coffee and quick bites’ tucked just up a bit from the main drag. It’s the no-nonsense toasties and seriously elite cuppas that have me going back time and time again. Stop by 6am-2pm, seven days a week. Read more.

Pickle n’ Pinch

6-8 Grice Ave, Paradise Point QLD 4216

It’s the modern Australian-meets-Vietnamese eatery that makes its mark on the Paradise Point restaurant lineup in a big way. Perfectly placed to grab a crispy Bahn Mi loaded with coriander, pickled carrot, cucumber ribbons and your choice of protein then make your way to the waterfront, Pickle n’ Pinch is sun-drenched and glorious. Sip Vietnamese coffee to transport your senses to the streets of Hanoi from 7am to 3pm daily. Read more.

Hats Off Eatery

40 The Esplanade, Paradise Point QLD 4216

Hats Off Eatery is home to Mediterranean cuisine done delightfully different. Family-run and filled with heart, this is my absolute number one pick for the best Paradise Point restaurant for a range of dietary requirements.

Everything is gluten-free and dairy free. Pay per gram of your choice of dishes cooked fresh daily. Think creamy potatoes au gratin, vegetable samosas and tangy tabbouleh. They’re open daily, 11am-630pm and in my opinion it’d be a sin to leave without nibbling on a custard tart. Read more.

Alvins Wine Bar

This is the chic neighbourhood wine bar Paradise Point locals adore. Come for the regularly applauded pizza and plates, stay for Alvins’ impressive wine list featuring an extensive lineup of organic drops from local suppliers. Plus, this place is doggo-friendly.

It’s refreshing to experience the good old-fashioned hospitality that Stacey and the team deliver. It’s a  cafe from 7am Wednesday through Sunday that moonlights as a Paradise Point restaurant by night until 9pm Thursday through Sunday. I recommend the window seat to throw back oysters, vino in hand, while the world goes by. Read more.

Japanese Cuisine

32 The Esplanade, Paradise Point QLD 4216

Don’t be fooled by the unassuming facade, Japanese Cuisine’s casual dining shakes hands with superior flavours on repeat. The pared back menu makes way for some of the freshest seafood on the Gold Coast. Order the Fresh Sashimi Lover for a vibrant symphony of seafood and colours artfully plated on a bed of ice.

Located on the main street, this one’s my pick as the best Paradise Point restaurant for Japanese delicacies. Call 5577 2975 to book for lunch from 1130am Wednesday through Saturday or dinner Monday through Saturday until 9pm. Read more.

The Lounge

44 The Esplanade, Paradise Point QLD 4216

The Lounge regularly heaves with live music. For ice-cold beers and a shake up of cocktails, I rate this Paradise Point restaurant. Plus, their $18 half-dozen oyster special is one of the most competitive on the Northern Gold Coast.

Should you take a bike ride down the promenade, follow the path to the left and soon you’ll reach a boardwalk in the mangroves. Perfect to work up a sweat, return for a swim in the roped off swimming area. Then? The Lounge is open for lunch Thursday through Sunday, perfect for a post-dip bite. And dinner service runs from 4pm Wednesday through Monday. Read more.

Bridges

3/36 The Esplanade, Paradise Point QLD 4216

It’s the lush parklands and stretching waterways that pull crowds to Paradise Point. So a pizza and tapas joint with beer on tap right across the road makes for a blissful day out. Shout out to the gluten-free dishes and kids menu on offer at Bridges. Plus lunch specials roll out the kitchen Tuesday through Friday 12noon until 4pm. Read more.

La Casetta

9/2 Grice Ave, Paradise Point QLD 4216

It’s the neighbourhood pizza bar that brings Euro-styled eats to the shores of Paradise Point. Located right next door to Buoy Oh Buoy, expect traditional slices straight from the clay oven at La Casetta. Try the Hot Riccoty with its spicy salami paste, fresh ricotta, honey and rocket for a flavour-filled bite. It’s a standout pizza place on the Northern Gold Coast, just be sure to call 55 775 445 or check their open hours which change time-to-time. Read more.
