Melbourne’s  weather is still doing its hot-cold thing, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy ourselves, especially when everyone’s trying to coax spring out of the stormy clouds. Slip into a food coma at Coburg drive-in's food truck festival or journey through the concrete jungle to Hana for a Hawaiian Happy Hour.

Ready to roll? Here’s five awesome things to do in Melbourne this week.

All Week

HANA HOUR

Take summer into your own hands with a visit to Hana. The city's Hawaiian raw seafood and cocktail bar is launching its first ever Happy Hour, and you’re invited. With monster leaves and palm fronds all around, you’ll be in the centre of paradise as you enjoy a cocktail for just $12. Of course, if you’re in the mood you can supersize your cocktail (they call it 'Volcano') and drink all your worries away. Feeling peckish? Oysters, Hawaiian Pork Sliders, and crispy prawn are all up for grabs.

Where: Hana, 212 little Collins Street
When: 4pm-6pm, Monday to Friday

COBURG DRIVE-IN FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL

It’s baaaacckkkk! The Coburg Drive-In Food Truck Festival is here to bring you food, food, and more food. With favourites like Roadrunner Fried Chicken, Ron’s Handburger Food Truck, Mr Chow’s Food Truck, and Manny’s Doughnuts, you’ll be spoilt for choice. There are two movies showing: either The Emoji Movie (hmm) or Kingsman: The Golden Circle (yaaassss).

Where: Village Cinemas Coburg Drive-In, 155 Newlands Road, Coburg
When: 13-14 September

HoMIE X VINOMOFO STREET VIEW ART EXHIBITION

Presented by Melbourne clothing store HoMie, StreetView is a public exhibition, with shots taken by people experiencing homelessness. A group of homeless Melbournians were given cameras to capture their take on the city's (often unseen) homeless community. It’ll be confronting, raw, and very real, but it’s a reminder to always be thankful for what you have. The entry is a gold coin donation to HoMie, a store where homeless people can receive free clothing, care-packages, and take part in educational workshops for future employment opportunities. Guests can also enjoy a glass of Vinomofo’s wine for a small donation.

Where: Besser Space, 15-25 Keele Street, Collingwood
When: 10am-5pm, 14-16 September

PERFECT MATCH

The good people at Fatto Bar & Cantina and The Drinks List have partnered up to give you The Perfect Match. For one night (and one night only), they’ll be celebrating Italian food and great wine from Jamsheed and Garagiste. On the specially curated menu from Head Chef James Kummrow, you can expect handmade tagliatelle with wild mushrooms and whole suckling pigs from Victoria’s Western Plains. And for the eager wine enthusiast, you'll get the chance to discuss all things wine with Drinks List co-founder Matt Skinner, and winemakers Gary Mills and Barnaby Flanders.

Where: Fatto Bar & Cantina, River Terrace, Hamer Hall Arts Centre Melbourne
When: 6:30pm Thursday 14 September

Friday 15 September

FRINGE FURNITURE

Think Fringe Festival and you often imagine interpretive dance or slam poetry or awful Tinder Tales turned into a play. Whatever it is, it’s guaranteed to turn heads. So imagine Fringe Furniture. Kicking off this Thursday and running all the way to October, avid Fringe Fest-goers and newbies can admire the furniture works of 100 artists at the Abbotsford Convent. But if you’re looking for a little bit more, then book a free tour with one of the many furniture makers. These tours take place every Sunday, and you’ll get the chance to discuss all things Fringe and art. Going by last year’s exhibition, you can expect some very innovative and just plain cool furniture.

Where: Abbotsford Convent, 1 St Heliers Street, Abbotsford
When: 11am-5pm Wednesday to Sunday until 1 October (Fringe Furniture). 3pm, every Sunday until October 1 (Artist-led Tours)

Guess what guys? There's a sausage dog race coming to Melbourne! Squeeeeeee.
