Get Tickets to The Seed Fund
Aussie music legend, Paul Kelly tells the story of not being able to get a record deal in 1984—he had to borrow money from a friend to launch his career; something that not every talented but struggling musician is able to do.
It was this concept that saw the birth of The Seed, a music-focused not-for-profit organisation that was developed with the aim of giving musicians a leg-up in their quest to become professionals in their industry. The brainchild of John Butler and Danielle Caruana (Mama Kin), The Seed offers financial and professional development support to those doing great things in Australian music.
Anyway, in order to be able to give such a helping hand, The Seed is hosting a gig with a seriously impressive line up of Aussie musicians. To be held at The Athenaeum Theatre on Monday October 12, the gig will be hosted by Triple J’s Zan Rowe and will feature the talents of Missy Higgins, San Cisco, Emma Louise, Paul Kelly and John Butler. You’ll need to be quick for tickets.

Our favourite German beer joint, Munich Brauhaus is turning one! And as you’d expect, they’re celebrating in epic, good-time party style. Or, to be more specific, they’re celebrating with a Haus Boat Party. Some might call this a good ol’ booze cruise, but it’s set to be so much better than that. Being held over five epic nights, you and your pals can jump on board Das Uber Boot for an unforgettable night of Munich style mayhem.
