Stories over Supper

Head down to Higher Ground tonight for a top-notch 3-course meal, while also doing your bit for the greater good. Your hosts for the evening are the guys behind the Social Food Project, an organisation that uses food that would've been thrown away to create yummy meals for people in need. Expect inspiring stories and (of course) the prettiest event space in the CBD.

Exploring Crime In Melbourne Today

There’s nothing cooler than knowing exactly what’s going on in your city. Get educated this Wednesday night on the crime problems in Melbourne with criminologist Michelle Noon. She's going to be chatting about all things prisons, community safety, and what’s really going on.

Raising the Bar

More knowledge for your week, people! Raising the Bar has 20 talks across 10 bars throughout Melbourne, all unpacking big-hitting social issues. There’s talks on everything you can imagine, from hacking to jury duty. Get smart over a beer, and leave with some seriously good icebreaker material for the work Christmas party.

Bricktacular Adult-Night Event

Calling all lovers of LEGO. This event at LEGOLAND Chadstone gives the grown-ups a chance to explore the 4D cinema, rides, factory tour and the LEGO brick pits...without grubby fingers and whinging tots getting in the way. If you consider yourself a LEGO expert, there'll be master builder challenges on the night, plus a Christmas themed best-dressed competition. LEGO—it's not child's play.

Taste Of Melbourne

It's back, baby! Just in case you didn’t have enough trouble deciding where to eat, a ton of Melbourne’s hottest restaurants like the Press Club and Atlas Dining are joining forces in Yarra Park for Taste of Melbourne. The line-up this year is off the chain. Sit in on masterclasses from top chefs, check out a few cooking demonstrations and (of course) grab a cool, cool bevvy.
