Morning Gloryville at 1000£ Bend
Here’s the wrap: you get up at 6.30am on Wednesday morning and traipse on down to 1000£ Bend... coffee in hand, clearly. Stretch your legs and take a few breaths to prepare yourself for a rave—yep, a rave. It’s called Morning Gloryville and it’s an immersive musical, creative and holistic experience that combines rave-cave goers with the fitness elite. In their 9th Gloryville sesh, the theme is ’20,000 Raves Under the Sea Spectacular’, meaning you’ll be surrounded by underwater themed hosts from DJs to roaming performers to free underwater yoga classes, and even raw juices/snacks/coffee if you’re feeling peckish. Sea Change Art Party At Allpress Studios
We've been following the awesome Melbourne gallery Many Hands for a while now, and their events just keep getting better and better! This Thursday, the art collective is hosting a cracking party that's raising funds for Fight For The Reef—a charity that's dedicated to saving what we can of our gorgeous natural resources—at Collingwood cafe and events hub Allpress. Expect music, art, photography and illustration from some of Australia's hottest rising talent, as well as some delicious drinks thanks to the teams at Quiet Deeds and Batlow Cider. The coolest art thing you'll see this month? Probably. Everything kicks off at 7pm—check out the Facebook event details here.
Moonlight Cinema screens The Hateful Eight
If you’re only going to see a couple of movies on the big screen this year, then one spot should be saved for Quentin Tarantino’s newest flick, The Hateful Eight. Set in post Civil War Wyoming, we’re transported to small log cabin to watch a classic Samuel L. Jackson monologue and so bloody much more. And we mean bloody. Whether you’re sitting in the #fancy Glam Grass section or chilling in GA, you’re going to have a brilliant night. The film starts at 8.30pm, so get there early, set up your spot, eat, drink and gaze at the stars. Ticket prices vary and bookings are essential, head to the Moonlight Cinema website to book now.
White Night 2016 | Melbourne CBD
Remember all those selfies you got at White Night 2015? Luckily for you insta-lovers everyone's fave all-night festival has officially returned for 2016. Running from 7pm—7am, it’s a non-stop night of awe and amazement. Wander slowly through the city and gaze at magnificent installations, exhibitions and street performances. Actually, there’s so much stuff on we’re starting to feel a little sick from #FOMO. To avoid said concerns, head to the White Night website immediately and download the program—it may run all night long, but we’re sure determined not to miss anything amazing.
