City Of Melbourne Is Handing Out Over 2000 Free Tickets To The NGV, Frozen The Musical And More

By Rick Stephens

Over the next four weeks, Melburnians will be treated to a prize pool of free tickets thanks to the City of Melbourne and the Victorian Government’s new FOMO Freebies initiative. There are 2450 free tickets up for grabs so far with even more yet to be announced. The freebies are part of the $200m Melbourne City Reactivation Fund, but enough about that, let’s get into the free stuff.

Some of the big-ticket items include Harry Potter and the Cursed Child as well as Broadway’s Frozen the Musical. As for local institutions, there are tickets to Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium, the NGV Friday Nights, and the O’Brien Icehouse in Docklands including skate hire.

You can also score an overnight staycation at The Westin or Sofitel with over 200 nights available at each hotel. Be a local tourist with the 200 double passes for the Discovera Hidden Bars & History Tours, and nab a shopping voucher for the iconic Queen Victoria Market

Make sure you’re following the @WhatsOnMelb socials on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for more info and announcements on how to score your tickets. The campaign will run until Sunday 18 July.

Meanwhile, check out the mammoth lineup for the Melbourne International Film Festival.
