Yes, this train is actually as cute as it sounds and Puffing Billy Railway has a scrumptious timetable that’s jam-packed with adventure. 

Passengers will soon be treated to an exciting new way to experience the beauty of the Dandenong Ranges with a side of star gazing—Twilight Trains. 

A Thursday night outing, hasn’t looked this good in a while, this twilight journey offers a three and a half hour round trip from Belgrave to Lakeside. 

Feel your legs dangling from the carriage sill, as you watch the day fade to night amongst some of the best views in Victoria. 

Before embarking on the return home, there’s the option to splurge on a full menu of eats and drinks at the Railway Cafe, with a bustling array of local beers, wines and ciders available. 

Take a peek at the gift-shop, try to stop the kids coming home with a souvenir, check out the Lakeside Hall Museum with some historic artefacts, and then make your sleepy steam train ride home.
