While we loved binging the craziness that was Netflix’s Tiger King, sometimes we need a hit of wholesomeness, and it doesn’t get much better than having Harry Potter himself serenade us with a reading of the J.K Rowling novel that made him a household name.

Rowling’s online platform, The Wizarding World, dropped a magical bomb on Twitter yesterday; announcing that as part of her #HarryPotterAtHome initiative (in response to the COVID-19 pandemic), she’s calling on her slew of famous friends to read out chapters from her first novel in the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

Kicking off chapter one is the boy wizard himself, Daniel Radcliffe. Followed by Stephen Fry, David Beckham, Dakota Fanning, Eddie Redmayne, Claudia Kim and Noma Dumezweni. And that’s just the beginning with Rowling teasing that there are more A-Listers to come.

Even better—the whole thing is free, with all 17 chapters to be released over the next few months. Videos will be posted weekly on harrypotterathome.com, or you can listen to an audio-only version available for free on Spotify.

Radcliffe’s reading is available here right now and honestly, it brought a nostalgic tear to our ear. You’re welcome.

In between video drops, bury your head in these epic books that will change the way you think.
