Rejoice, the doyen of documentaries, Louis Theroux, is finally set to release a podcast thanks to the good folk at the BBC.

Titled Grounded With Louis Theroux, the podcast dives deep into the celebrity space and follows on from his debut TV series, When Louis Met... Episode one will feature charismatic journalist, author and writer Jon Ronson, though details on guests following are still murky.

Theroux’s first foray into the world of podcasts comes as a response to the global lockdown laws in place, with the documentary maker using his time to track down celebrities that he may not otherwise be able to interview.

The series’ guests apparently range from the celebrated to the controversial, and looks to discuss the current state of the world as well as the careers of those in question.

Episode one is available to us via BBC Sounds on Wednesday 6 May, however, those keen for an early look-in can catch a sample featuring several unnamed guests here.
