It seems like nothing grips the imagination, or budgets, of people in Perth quite like streetwear. Perth has a ton of great places with elite streetwear curations, so lace those Yeezys up and jump on board the hype train of Perth’s best streetwear shops.
Cold Wave Store
Brand new on the Perth scene is Cold Wave Store. The kids here are stocking only the best vintage clothes and streetwear, along with sneakers. They're also accepting consignments—everything from Supreme and Bape to Yeezys and Jordans, hit them up to book in an appointment.
Highs and Lows
A Perth streetwear stalwart, many would consider it the first stop on any streetwear shopping outing. Having been around for over a decade (which, for independent retailers, may as well be a century) Highs and Lows has survived the test of time with its healthy balance of brands and styles. With practical brands like Carharrt and The North Face to compliment more boutique brands like Comme des Garcon, you can be sure to find a variety of clothes to run the block in.
Street X
A store most notarised by their own line t-shirts and totes, you would be hard pressed not to see their branding on someone walking through Northbridge. Having said that, they also stock many other brands and their store is definitely worth a visit next time you’re in the city as they’re right on William Street near the train station.
Cabinet Noir
A store with a style to match its name, Cabinet Noir oozes steez with its moody fit out. Boasting a beautiful selection of throwback sneakers, you’ll be recounting the old “it’s gotta be the shoes” Nike commercial while slipping on some old school Jump Mans. The clothing ain’t no joke either, with great variety in style it’s always worth popping in to see what fresh drip is on the shelves.
The Butcher Shop
The painter’s darling, The Butcher Shop goes beyond just fashion and provides all the goods for visual art as well as clothing. If you’re looking for crisp basics and some spray cans to dirty them up with while on the tools, The Butcher Shop is the place for you.
Lessons
For those with a few more dollars in their pocket than most, Lessons is the spot for you. Sporting more niche designer brands, Lessons has streetwear clothes you don’t have to worry about every man and his dog owning. Located on Wellington Street, you may want to swing by next time your tax return comes through.
Hypnotise
Housing a unique assortment of brands, Hypnotise is streetwear meets designer apparel. Sitting pretty in the Baldwin buildings in Northbridge, Hypnotise fits perfectly in your counterculture walking itinerary. However, with great product, comes great financial responsibility. Make sure you clear your credit card heading in.
Atlas
The only store on the list featuring a latex outfit, Atlas scores instant brownie points from us. From ‘93 ‘til infinity, Atlas has been holding it down in Leederville for a minute now. You step through the doors and it’s like going back to your grandma's house, but instead of hoarding animal ceramics, she hoards her great outfits.
West Brothers
Sitting out in the ‘burbs, West Brothers in Mirrabooka is like the streetwear warehouse of your dreams. This massive store is packed with fresh goodies to have you dressed from summer through winter, especially if you're an NBA fan.
