And the fun doesn’t end there, because the restaurants in the Brookfield Place precinct have pulled on their Santa hats and concocted an array of festive desserts, drinks, and indulgent offerings ready for you and your besties to enjoy a night on the town.
The Christmas fanfare in December can be a little overwhelming, but there’s really no escaping it. And if you can’t beat them…well, you should probably check out the festive laneway takeover at Brookfield Place, which will last until 13 January 2026.
Here’s our guide to the dining and drinking options in the precinct, primed for your seasonal sipping and savouring.
Bobèche

One of Perth’s funkiest cocktail bars is bringing on the Christmas charisma with their signature Christmas bev, and it’s a total knockout. Bobèche has cracked the code for elegant cocktails and perfectly curated bar food, leaning into a moody speak-easy vibe that effortlessly elevates your casual drinks catch up.
Their iconic Sweet Knockout cocktail is splashing back into our glasses this Christmas for $26 a pop, crafted with Ketel One vodka, Aperol, Casamigos Mezcal, Massenez peach, and finished with a red wine float. It’s bold, fruity, and tastes like summer, meaning you can cheers to the holidays in style.
The Heritage Wine Bar & Restaurant

Through the 1920s sandstone arches and historic frontage of Brookfield Place, The Heritage Wine Bar and Restaurant awaits. Their ‘everything for everyone’ ethos couldn’t ring truer as they celebrate local growers through a European-style menu, and honour vintners old and new with an eclectic wine list prepped for any occasion.
Shaking things up with a bit of seasonal sweetness this year, The Heritage has added a decadent Peach Trifle to their summer menu, featuring fresh peaches, an almond financier, vanilla crème pâtissière, and a light peach and rose sorbet. This one will cost you $19, and the fruity fragrance alone is worth every penny.
W Churchill

Sophisticated, refined, and inspired by the original foodie, Sir Winston Churchill himself, the W Churchill restaurant has been spicing up the traditional British pub experience since 2019. Aside from their usual 10 beer taps, hearty menu, and over 200 gin styles, they’ve also been cooking up a dessert storm just in time for summer, and before I give you the rundown, this is your official drool warning.
For $15 each, you can taste a traditional Crème Brûlée with seasonal berries and homemade shortbread, a spiced Pear and Almond Tart with blood-peach coulis and honey cream, a deluxe (gluten-free!) Chocolate Brownie loaded with whisky caramel popcorn and salted cream, and finally, a Tiramisu with pretty much every topping (mascarpone, Frangelico, Kahlúa, Savoiardi biscuits, walnuts, and praline cocoa). I’d suggest going with a group and sharing them all between you, because how could you possibly pick just one?
Bar Lafayette

We can all appreciate a classic cocktail, but sometimes the flavours we know and love can get a little predictable. Enter Bar Lafayette, the chic cocktail and whisky bar you and your friends can get cosy in this season, enjoying all your favourite cocktails with few festive twists. If you want creamy and rich, you can choose from the Edinburgh Coffee with vanilla cream, the Miso Tiramisu Old Fashioned, or the chamomile-based Autumn Leaves with chocolate garnish. If you want something lighter, opt for the ginger and chrysanthemum Yuzu Penicillin, or the theatrically tropical Popcorn Blazer. Either way, you’ll be feeling merry and bright real quick.
Print Hall

Operating out of the historical West Australian newspaper print building and sprawling over multiple levels of bars, restaurants, and dancing areas, Print Hall is the classy yet fun heritage establishment that you can get lost in (quite literally). This year, their Italian STAMPA! restaurant (located on the first floor above the cellar) has a festive take on a dessert heavyweight, offering a Cherry and Limoncello Tiramisu for $20 throughout December. It’s light, bright, and dangerously creamy, with a citrussy sweetness perfect for a hot day or balmy night treat.
Papi Katsu

When there’s a Japanese fusion restaurant with a premium cocktail menu, I am immediately seated. Papi Katsu is no exception, with their mouth-watering menu options of whipped edamame, ebi sando with yuzu pickles, and toasted sesame tuna tartare ready to be paired with a creative drink that somehow makes it taste even better. My pick for this season is their signature Golden Days cocktail, a seasonal blend of Jim Beam 7, house-made coffee liqueur, miso caramel syrup, soy maple syrup, umami bitters, and toasted sesame foam, bringing all the warmth and nostalgia the holidays deserve.
