You were fooling yourself if you thought giving up desserts was a legit new year’s resolution. We almost considered going sugar free for 2021, until Get Chunky reminded us they were opening a third shop that would be full of their delicious gooey goodness—making us cave faster than a recovering shopaholic on Black Friday.
Get Chunky were the first New York style cookie shop to hit Australia in 2017 and since then their fat, sugar-filled treats have well and truly stolen our hearts. For their third location, they'll be setting up shop in the new FOMO dining precinct in Fremantle, which is due to open 10am Sunday 28 November. Pretty exciting considering all the joints inside this new foodie haven will be open 7 days a week so you can fill that craving whenever it hits.
Now, if you've been around the Get Chunky block, you'll know they tend to dish up some serious freebies whenever they launch a new store and this one is no different. The first 200 customers will get a free cookie and a nitro cold brew to wash it down, and the first 10 legends in line will win a box of six fat cookies and a drink of their choice. If you miss out on the free stuff, you can still get around the special limited edition cookie they're rolling out on the day for one day only.
