With hour-long lines out of the new Drasko’s Hot Chicken and tickets to Archie’s Hot Chicken pop-up selling out within 2 minutes, it’s safe to say Perth’s gone pretty chicken mad. So when we heard that North Bird was teaming up with Archie’s for an epic four-week cellar door Sunday sesh, well we had to give it a shout out. And really, fried chicken and natural wine seems like the perfect way to round out a weekend.
For just $40 per person, you can sip through samples of six scrumptious natural wines from the North Bird wine list and stuff your face with Archie’s drool-worthy fried chicken every Sunday from 1:30pm. Considering how hard it is to actually wrap your hands around Archie’s chicken, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss.
The kitchen will close up at 6:30pm but DJs will be spinning soulful funk jams well into the evening so nobody’s telling you to head home early. There’ll also be bottle specials on offer so you can pick a bottle of your fave natural wine and settle in for the night.
