The show’s had an incredible cast over the years—from Meryl Streep, Tina Fey and Nathan Lane (aka the voice of Timone in the original Lion King) to Jane Lynch, Sting, Eva Longoria, and Paul Rudd (ooph). And you can expect this trend to continue in Only Murders in the Building Season 5.
Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez return in their lead roles, along with series regulars Meryl Streep and Jane Lynch. The story follows Charles, Oliver, and Mabel’s investigation (duh) into the oh-so-sweet doorman Lester’s sudden and suspicious death from the end of Season 4—and this time, it’s really personal. Along the way, they’ll meet an eccentric hospitality mogul (Renée Zellweger), a billionaire obsessed with life extension (Christoph Waltz), a potential mobster (Bobby Cannavale), and a shady New York Mayor campaigning for re-election (Keegan-Michael Key). You can expect all the usual humour, heart, and plenty of twists and turns. Plus, this one promises to be the trio’s darkest and most perilous case yet…

The first three episodes dropped on Tuesday, September 10, with new episodes coming every Tuesday until the season finale on October 28.
