Prepare yourself, the ultimate feasting experience is coming to The Rechabite as part of Perth Festival. Uniquely decadent and downright saucy, Art Feast is an immersive dining experience like no other that pairs an indulgent feast with performances, film, art installations and live music.

Get set to nibble the night away while taking in an evening of tantalising theatrics, with non-stop acts happening across multiple stages and throughout the course of your epic meal. Don’t worry, though, those theatrics might steal your gaze, but the creative degustation developed by Chef Danny Sanchez and the Double Rainbow team will still be the star of the show. Expect a new and exciting menu with each course matched to a different performance.

Your exact eating experience will be determined by your seat. High ticket holders will be served a six-course degustation at their balcony table, allowing them to watch the antics from above. Low ticket holders will be seated up close to the action and feast from generous buffet tables overflowing with sumptuous delights. There’s even a table that rises and descends throughout the night, giving the odd low diner the chance to join the ranks of the high.

Running for two weeks, the experience is split into two different shows that explore The Darkness and The Light, with each running for one week. And while you can choose just one path, each is very different so diners are encouraged to attend both.

You’ll start your feasting journey in The Darkness. A rich and enticing dive into depravity, The Darkness will feature a specially commissioned film shot in The Rechabite Hall projected as a striking altar-piece and backdrop for the evening, while live classical instrumentalists provide an atmospheric soundscape for the exotic and sensual displays of acrobatics, cabaret and theatre scattered throughout. You can also expect a diverse range of live music performances from some of Perth’s most exciting musical acts.

In the second week, you’ll be stepping into The Light and celebrating the last week of Perth Festival. Expect rainbows, light and a humongous suspended display of beautiful flowers above you, with awe-inspiring performances and exuberant musical displays from the likes of the Western Australian Badass Gospel Choir.

Art Feast lands at The Rechabite in Northbridge on Wednesday 3 March and runs ‘til Sunday 14 March. Secure your tickets to this unforgettable dinner while you can.
