The Miss Chow’s owner saw a gap in the market for an Asian-style grocer stocking specialty ingredients, ready-to-go meals, frozen foods and WA fresh produce. Made with local ingredients and featuring authentic recipes, the ready-made meals have made weeknight dinners much simpler, and OMG is soon to feature a liquor store. Stay tuned.

Batter Up Taiyaki

Batter Up Taiyaki is a Perth food stall dishing out those adorably delicious, sweet-filled fish. Somewhere between a pancake and waffle, taiyaki is a Japanese dessert filled with a delightful surprise. In Batter Up's case, that surprise is vanilla custard cream, matcha custard cream or red bean. These guys pop up at the Perth Home Grown Market every Sunday and the Subi Farmer's Market fortnightly on Saturdays, give them a follow on Instagram to find out where they're headed next and what feature flavours they have going.

This Cult Food And Booze Fest Returns To The South West This Winter

WA's fave winter fest, Cabin Fever, is back in all its cosy glory. Running from Friday 18 to Sunday 27 July, the 10-day festival will see a string of mouth-watering events pop up down south, from Busselton to Margaret River—providing loads of opportunities to devour all the food, wine and beer your body can handle while getting nice 'n toasty with your fellow foodies.

We know when that hotline bling, that can only mean one thing—at Hotline Hoagies it means subs stuffed with all the cheesy, meaty, oily, crunchy goodness imaginable. Specialising in the meatball sub, but offering Dorrito crumbed chicken parmis, fried chicken, pulled beef and add-ons like loaded fries, every type of cheese you can think of and their famous four-hour tomato sauce, these guys are satisfying all our cravings. They now have a semi-permanent pop up store in Perth so make sure you give them a visit! And if you're too lazy for that, Hotline Hoagies are also available on UberEats.

If you've been searching for giant, delicious fresh pretzels in Perth then look no further than Pretzel. This pretty-as-a-picture pastel pink shipping container is smack bang in the middle of the Perth Cultural Centre and the crew make the pretzels by hand right there, all day long so they're fresh as can be! If you're after something sweet, the Nutella pretzel is the bomb and the salted caramel is also pretty amaze! For those of you who prefer your pretzels savoury, the bacon and pepperoni is good but it's the jalapeno one that really has us drooling.

Possibly Perth’s best food truck, Jumplings Tasty Dumplings fry up some killer gyoza (Japanese-style pan-fried dumplings). The chicken, duck and vego varieties are menu staples, but if you’re lucky you might get to try the prawn, chilli crab or scallop Jumplings. To carb things up a notch, have your Jumplings served bowl style with udon noodles, cabbage and coriander, topped with homemade chilli and truffled ponzu sauces. Jumplings just opened up a stall in the Raine Square food court, which means a dumplings fix just got a whole lot more convenient for city workers!

Hanging out in North Fremantle at Mojo's most weekends to satisfy your late night hot dog cravings, you can also find them at various night markets about town.
